Located along the quiet shores of Lake Contoocook and overlooking Mt. Monadnock, the Woodbound Inn offers the ideal setting for your wedding event. The extensive grounds offer a spectacular and ever changing backdrop, whether it is the soft colors of spring, the lush fall foliage or the sparkling winter snow.  The Woodbound Inn offers the perfect location for a wedding event that provides accommodations and activities for your guests against the beautiful New Hampshire background. 

 

The Woodbound Inn offers a variety of spaces to host your rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and post wedding brunch.  The Edgewood Ballroom accommodates groups of 70-160 people, with the Porch as a shady location for your cocktail hour, and the adjacent lawn is perfect to set up lawn games for your guests’ enjoyment.  The Playbarn is the perfect location for a small, rustic wedding reception or larger rehearsal dinner for up to 70 people. The Brummer Room, located in the Main Inn, is a great place for an intimate wedding reception or rehearsal dinner of up to 30 people.  Our private beach area offers the perfect setting for a smaller lakeside ceremony.  The Arbor adjacent to the Main Inn offers a spectacular view of Mount Monadnock as the backdrop for your ceremony.  There are areas on the property to host larger, tented functions in the summer and fall.  

 

The Woodbound Inn offers an onsite event coordinator to assist in all the details and work with you on creating the perfect event.  Our goal is to provide the wedding of your dreams and exceed all expectations.  Our menus offer gourmet options created by our executive chef and can be customized to suit your tastes and desires.

 

The Main Inn offers traditional guest rooms with modern amenities.  All have queen beds, private baths and individual heating and air conditioning units.  There are also suites with a king bed, soaking tub and a sitting area with space for you and your wedding party to get ready for the big day, and are perfect for the couple to spend their wedding night in.  Our Edgewood building offers hotel style guest rooms, all with two double beds and a private bath.  Lakeside cabins are offered along the shores of Lake Contoocook and are great for the couple who wants to gather with family and unplug for the weekend. 

 

During your guests' leisure time, they will enjoy the Inn's many recreational activities, including our private beach, shuffleboard, horseshoes and miles of hiking trails for the self-guided nature walk.  The Inn also offers a full service restaurant and Pub for lunch and dinner.
